The CFL 2019-2021 collective agreement was first made public on January 7, 2020. The basic minimum wage was $54,000 in 2018. Thus, in 2019, the basic remuneration for players has remained the same. This year, however, the base salary will increase by US$11,000 to US$65,000, meaning that players will make 120 percent of the previous base. Global Player, however, remains on the previous base salary number of $54,000. Each C.F.L. team will provide its players with free, free-to-choose or GMP-certified NSF supplements. The list of supplements is drawn up by mutual agreement on the basis of professional advice. Pending the approval of the C.F.L.P.A., the C.F.L.
will also be able to affix the De Sport label to supplements. It is agreed that no supplement can be guaranteed to be free of prohibited substances and athletes continue to be solely responsible for any supplement they choose to use and any effects that come from a negative test result. The CFL and CFLpa formally began negotiations on the new collective agreement in March. The two sides agreed on a provisional agreement on 15 May and signed an agreement on 18 May. It`s a change. In the 2014 and 2019 CBA, they were here (3) quarterbacks. That`s a minimum. This statement does not say that teams cannot dress three quarterbacks. However, this means that teams must attract two and remember that these two are limited in what type of football activities they can participate in during a match.
In the event that the C.F.L. decides to schedule the Grey Cup game earlier, the C.F.L.dem C.F.L.P.A. must submit a one-year notification of such a change and the training camp period may begin before May 1 during that year, provided that all other conditions under article 6 are met. The parties agreed that the release of the “Key Schedule Dates” document made available to the Union on 29 April 2019 met the requirement to register this article for the 2020, 2021 and 2022 seasons. There was a full season of the Canadian Football League that was played out without a definitive copy of the collective bargaining agreement, but it is finally over. The current collective agreement between the CFL and cfLPA was ratified on May 22, 2019. The first media articles listed the strengths of the agreement from unpublished sources, but the full text of the agreement was published in January 2020 (link below). The contract expires for three years until the 2021 season and expires the day before the start of training camp 2022.
